		<description>Current building regulations require about 270mm (or 11\" in old money) of loft insulation to comply with Part L (conservation of fuel and power). You should also be aware that you will need to lag any pipework in your loft if you are doing this; there will be a danger of them freezing in winter due to the lack of heat getting to the loft with the extra loft insulation keeping it in. Water Bylaw 49 recommends 25mm of pipe lagging for 15mm pipes and 19mm of pipe lagging for 22mm and 28mm pipes for frost protection</description>
